Seven more wins, and the Dodgers win the NL Title. Then, with Eleven Total Post-Season Wins, they will win it all. The World Series! The only question is: Will the Baseball Gods allow it? See, that’s what it all boils down to. The Dodgers outspent everyone in the past offseason…
Kris Kristofferson has drawn his last breath. On this somber day, September 29th, 2024, the curtain has closed on a voice that has long echoed in the hearts of wanderers, poets, and dreamers. His songs, carved from the raw, sinewy elements of life, will forever linger in the…
Reggie Jackson had the moniker of “Mr. October,” probably due to some really big World Series at-bats, especially one or two against the Los Angeles Dodgers. But I won’t go there! All in all, Reggie Jackson was in 17 playoff series and hit .278 with a .358 OB% to go with a .885…
Hopefully, Mookie will make an impact in the playoffs but he has been a non-factor in this series as he took the collar again last night. Shohei Ohtani, whom many fans have actually (delusionally) ragged on, showed up, stepped up and shut the Padres up! There are actually morons…
Today’s post is short and sweet. I have a lot going on, so I will make it brief: The Dodgers were bounced from the playoffs last year because two of their former MVPs forgot how to hit. They choked. I can’t sugarcoat it. That’s what happened. In one round of the playoffs last…
The pitching staff got a much-needed day off yesterday, and now the Dodgers will face King, Cease, and Musgrove as the Padres are looking to sweep the Dodgers and tie them for first place in the NL West. The Dodgers just announced that it will be Knack, Flaherty, and Buehler who…
Every team that has a chance at the playoffs is sucking air! It’s a long season, and we are down to “crunch time.” I am just going to continue to root for the Dodgers and warn the morons to stay away from here. If you disagree… well, you are a dumbass and a moron! I happen to…
Los Angeles Dodgers Magic Numbers To clinch a first-round bye: 3 To clinch the NL West: 5 You can see the flashes with Walker Buehler, as he struck out 9 in 5.1 IP. He only walked one, but we did not see consistency. He has one more start to see if he can attain that. Tony…
Yeah, the bases are four inches closer, and the number of throws to 1B is limited, but no legitimate power hitter in baseball has ever done what Shohei Ohtani has done in terms of stealing bases. NOBODY! … and almost nobody is doing what he has done this year, in terms of…
In 2024, the single-best player in the Grand Game of Baseball is Aaron Judge. That could change next year. Aaron Judge will be 33, and Shohei Ohtani will be 31. Judge is still in his prime… maybe he has a couple of years at the top of his game left. Ohtani has improved this…
It seems like every time the Dodgers score nine runs, they win, but the Marlins are evidently the best team in baseball because, after all, we have been told that the best team always wins! Right? Of course, I am being sarcastic! In baseball, unlike a game like basketball, the…
Shohei Ohtani Likely to Pitch in Playoffs Sometimes, someone has already written what I wanted to say (only better), and MLBTR has done exactly that. READ THIS PIECE ON OHTANI . It’s speculation, and it does not seem likely that he will start, but everything he does is unlikely…
