I think I will just run this post everyday until something changes if something changes. These guys make Mendoza look like a superstar and it s the same every day. They can t advance runners, can t move runners, can t bunt, can t hit, can t homer, can t pitch. It s the same thing every day and it s going to stay that way as long as these batting averages are next to players names: Taylor
It was actually an encouraging game for the Dodgers as a team. CT3 got on base on 4 of his plate appearances. Plus he actually got a stolen base. Puig had a 3 hit night. The Dodgers actually got a sac fly. After the third inning they stopped chasing Corbin’s slider and worked him to where he was gone after 5. Baez is proving to be a good low leverage
and that includes Dave Roberts. Last night was a classic example of what is wrong with the Dodgers. Trailing all of the game, in ther bottom of the 9th inning, the Dodgers Kike Hernandez homers off a RH pitcher (Write that down, Doc-a RH pitcher) to tie the game. Chris Taylor quickly strikes out and Alex I am screaming to be sent back to AAA Verdugo meekly grounds out.
You can t make an alcoholic stop drinking, you can t make a heroin addict quit shooting, you can t make these guys clutch hitters, you can t make the bullpen guys quit walking guys and giving up hits. You can t fix people. You can t fix teams. You can t fix these Dodgers. They have to fix themselves. Well, they may need a little coaching, but I have a couple of words of advice to
It s time to see what Kike Hernandez can do as a regular put him at 3B until JT comes back. Pederson goes to CF. Muncy and Valera go back to OKC. Too many weak bats. Hudson goes back to OKC and Cingrani goes on the DL. The team is under siege and decisive action is required. Things have to change and they have to change now! Puig will be
In 1980 a book by that title was released eleven years after the authors suicide, no doubt caused by the premise of the book, which is both depressing and true. The author John Kennedy Toole, was awarded a posthumous Pulitzer Price. The premise of the book is that When a true genius appears in the world, you may know him by this sign, that the dunces are all in confederacy against him.
Striker Buehler (I refuse to call him by his real name, because that is not a good name for a pitcher in fact, I will pay for him to legally change it to Striker or maybe No Hit ) has become the most exciting Dodger Rookie pitcher since Drumroll Fernando Valenzuela, who was just a freak. In his first eight starts in 1981, Fernando pitched eight straight complete games and sported
It s no secret that the Dodgers bullpen has grossly under-performed this season (so far). Therefore, one might ask the question: Is there any help for the bullpen in the minor leagues THIS Season? Scott Alexander is a possibility IF he can work on his control, which has always been suspect. He s a ground-ball machine if he can get hitters to swing, but too often he puts the pitch too far out
What do the Dodgers do now? Personnel wise – NOTHING . FAZ needs rely on what they have developed. They have shortstops that can play at the ML level, although certainly not at the Corey Seager level. Other than Francisco Lindor or Carlos Correa, there is no other comparable SS. There is absolutely no reason to make a trade for a rental like Manny Machado. But let’s be realistic .
The Dodgers are currently 12-16 and have a losing record at home and on the road. There record says they are a sub .500 team and their record is accurate. It s a new month and they better develop a sense of urgency, or the wheels may fall off this thing and they could become sellers at the trade deadline. Personally, I believe that that have too much talent and depth,
As if Dodger fans were not outraged enough by losing 3 out of 4 to the Giants and the team being three games under .500, today we find out that Corey Seager needs Tommy John Surgery. Of course, over the past few days FAZ has been skewered for just about every imaginable and unimaginable mistake they have ever made real or concocted. Almost everyone is saying that the Dodgers
Yesterday, these were no wholesale changes on the Dodgers roster. Who the hell predicted that anyway? What a moron! No names will be mentioned to protect the guilty. Never speak of this again! The first game of the doubleheader allowed the Dodger bats to break out against the Giants with 15 runs, as the Dodgers won 15-6. The Giants came back and won game 2 by a 8-3 score, even
