I keep hearing that the Los Angeles Dodgers are very undisciplined hitters. They’re swinging wildly at everything the pitcher throws up there. Otani, Pages, Teoscar, and others. It sounds like the Dodgers are the worst team in baseball. Would it surprise you that the Dodgers are second in runs scored? They are only eight runs behind the New York Yankees. The Dodgers are second in OPS. INTERESTINGLY, THEY ARE SECOND IN HOME RUNS, BUT THEY’RE ONLY 14TH IN STRIKEOUTS! This is despite the fact that they have suffered many injuries throughout the year, as well as had several players underperform at times.

I sometimes think we are watching a different game. When the Dodgers get all their injured players back, it would be no surprise to see them lead all of Major League Baseball in runs. Of course, most Dodger fans expect more. I’m pretty sure that the Dodgers are not going to cut Michael Conforto now. I guess history will be the judge of whether that was the right move or not.

What about the pitching? Well, the Dodgers are 18th in MLB in ERA since the start of the season. However, over the last 30 days, the team ERA is 3.34, which is suitable for number three in all of MLB… and it’s only going to get better. Frankly, with more players getting back this week and next, I think the Dodgers are looking pretty good.

This pain medication is kicking my butt. I am just testing out the Dragon software. Piece out!

Isiah Kiner-Falefa released by the Pirates. I don’t think they sign Walker. Bullpen is going to be crowded. Kopech and Vesia due back sometime in September. Tonites lineup. Ohtani DH, Betts SS, Freeman 1B, Smith C, Teo RF, Conforto LF, Pages CF, Freeland 2B, Kike 3B. Snell P.

as far as walker is concerned, love him but where does he fit in? Probably not going to start. Could he help coming out of the bullpen? who would they send out to make room for him? 5. something era? i’m just not sure if AF will go there.

doesn’t surprise me they scored as many runs as they have. what bothers me is that they score 8 runs in one game and have the ability to score 2 or less any given game. when they are clicking, they are a juggernaut. sometimes they have a morgue like appearance on the field. right now with wheeler out the dodgers have as good of a starting rotation as anyone. the bullpen is getting healthy and better. A little more discipline from a couple of guys could help them win it all again!

This is better than reading AI.

And I agree people freak out too much.

Whatever happens will be decided in October.

Red Sox released Walker Buehler today. His hopes of signing for big money as a free agent this off-season have tumbled dramatically.

Where will he land? Do the Dodgers take a flyer on him? I’d be ok with his return, though I must admit that the roster space issues may make that next to impossible.

I see marked improvement in the last week and with the injured returning, this team should shine.

Hip replacement was 12 days ago and the doc said days 5-9 would really suck. He was right, pain was miserable. It has now leveled off to stiffness. Sutures get removed on the 4th of September. Hope your recovery goes well .
