Due to circumstances beyond my control, people are coming here with political comments or baiting others. It won’t continue to happen. I will be using most of Jon Weisman’s Rules. Here they are:

Thank you For Not …
1) using profanity or any euphemisms for profanity
2) personally attacking other commenters
3) baiting other commenters
4) arguing for the sake of arguing
5) discussing politics
6) using hyperbole when something less will suffice
7) using sarcasm in a way that can be misinterpreted negatively
8) making the same point over and over again
9) being annoyed by the existence of this list
10) commenting under the obvious influence
11) claiming your opinion isn’t allowed when it’s just being disagreed with

  2. dodgerdadJune 19, 2025

just a quote from planes trains and automobiles! doesn’t mean anything. how bout them dodgers?

  3. Jorge ValenzuelaJune 19, 2025

    I have a question:

Do I appear, mean, or am I somewhere on that list?

Because I don’t want to hurt feelings or offend some very delicate eyes.

But it’s okay, I promise not to bother anyone, I’ll be very respectful from now on.

And by the way, although it’s not important, I don’t hate anyone, because no one is important enough to hate.

I don’t hate those SD players, I just want to kill them!

  4. rataJune 19, 2025

Thank you, it was getting a little out of hand.

  5. Dodger DaveJune 19, 2025

    Thank you.

  6. dodgerpatchJune 19, 2025

If I can’t use sarcasm, how am I supposed to communicate?

    It’s basically my mother tongue.

NO Conforto again against a RH ptcher

  8. ToddJune 19, 2025

If the Dodgers do part ways with Conforto I think they would improve the team by moving either Edman or Kim to the outfield and playing the other at second base. Both are equal or better defensively and much better offensively.

I don’t understand why Dave Roberts has been pinch hitting Kiki for Kim. Does anyone have an insight?

  9. DavidJune 19, 2025

    Mark,

Can’t you just delete the annoying and offensive and political posts?

  10. dodgerdadJune 19, 2025

if we don’t make them, he doesn’t have to delete them…. and i said earlier, why take kim out every time a lefty comes in? he’s got more to offer than kike at this time

“The Los Angeles Dodgers selected the contract of Jack Little from Triple-A Oklahoma City and optioned Emmet Sheehan prior to their series finale against the San Diego Padres.

Tony Gonsolin was transferred to the 60-day injured list in order to make room for Little on the Dodgers’ 40-man roster, which remains full. There was an open spot but that was filled Wednesday when the Dodgers activated Sheehan off the 60-day injured list for his 2025 debut”.

  12. DANIEL ESTRADA ROSALESJune 19, 2025

I would prefer Pages after Freeman, instead of Kike.

  13. Daytona JackJune 20, 2025

I think there is some real hate between the two NL West managers. Something I haven’t seen in Doc. Dodgers needed a little Lasorda in the clubhouse and the Pods provided it. Little started a fight in his first MLB game. Baptism by fire. He has some serious composure and guts, pitching well after the mele. Instant acceptance in the clubhouse.

  14. Andrew Vincent ForteJune 20, 2025

It’s time for Yamamota to develop a hang nasil infection and head to the IL for some R&R. Not the same pitcher as he was earlier in the season. When he returns,he needs to have full 7(SEVEN) days rest between starts when he is most effective according to his stats.

  15. OC DodgerJune 20, 2025

I agree on the hangnail IL stint for Yamamoto. With others returning and the Dodgers in their current position, it’s a good time to hangnail. Maybe he can get designated as an AS and then hangnail it, using part of that time in his 10 days. I have an untrained eye but he seems to be almost 2 mph down. The splitter doesn’t feel as wicked as it did in April. His curveball looks good. I wonder what the batting averages are against his different pitches? He’s a good guy and we need to give him every resource to shine.

  16. Koufax32June 20, 2025

    Put Rushing in left.

Let Conforto go. (or a bench player)

Bring up Hunter Feduccia to backup Smith

  17. HawkeyedodgerJune 20, 2025

I’d like to see Kopech put one in Machado’s ribs.

    Mike Shildt is a tool.

    That is all oh and…..

Happy Kershaw day to all that partake!

  20. Mark TimmonsJune 20, 2025

I don’t know how much I will be around this weekend (I will be watching the Pacers Sunday night), but the wife and I are in Mountain View, California, for the weekend. We return home Monday night. Out here to see her family. Maybe go into SF on Monday! I want to know if they are cleaning it up.

  21. Jorge ValenzuelaJune 20, 2025

It’s a shame I can no longer express what I think of that team of good and talented SD players. After all, they are very good people, very beloved players.

Now I understand why many of you are so afraid of that team, I shuddered in terror when I read this:

Manny Machado says the Dodgers should “pray” that Fernando Tatis Jr.’s X-rays come back clean.

    I’M AFRAID!

  22. Old Bear 48June 20, 2025

Dodgers are trading for LHP Zach Penrod from the Red Sox per MLBTR. Return to the Sox not known yet. Penrod was DFAd in the wake of the Devers trade. He has been at AAA after an elbow issue sidelined him for about 3 months. He most likely will be sent to AAA OKC as he has pitched just 7.1 innings at AAA.

  23. dodgerdadJune 20, 2025

KERSHAW day! Well i won’t get to watch it because of the mlb stupid blackout rule! i live 5 1/2 hours from d.c. so i dont have masn cable on my cable provider, so i get the shaft! And yes i have mlb package, but it is still blocked from my viewing pleasure! so since i’m in eastern standard time, i can wait till 2am and watch! whoooopeeee! Damn i’m lucky! Well Clayton, keep it rolling tonight! … I just don’t understand all the negativity towards Manny. He’s such a sweetheart of a guy! Don’t hit him in the head or face , it might make him better looking! seriously, enough of the hitting batters. But high praise for Doc! love the fire!

Dodgers Food Trailer

I did this interview a couple of weeks ago with Chef Mike, who runs the Dodgers Food Trailer for the Great Lakes Loons. They are there for every home and road regular season and playoff game. They prepare three meals a day for approximately 50 people (players and coaches). Since games end late most evenings, they do not prepare breakfast. Many of their hotels have a complimentary breakfast anyway. However,…

Meet LAD 2026 Draft Picks 1-12

3 picks were High School players (2 SS and 1 OF). There was a college OF, college catcher, college SS, and 10 college pitchers. Of all the talk for a need for a catcher, the only catcher the Dodgers selected was Luke Bard, son of LAD bullpen coach Josh Bard. Bard was a 4th year senior from Houston Christian University. He is not a prospect, so the Dodgers are still…

Interview with Paul Beachy – Team Bus Driver For The Great Lakes Loons (LA Dodgers Minor League Team)

It’s been a few days since I did this interview. We have evidently been working my son-in-law (the video guy) like a rented mule at US Water Systems. However, I am taking him to London with me in a few days, so maybe Watford will buy him a pint as a tip, but he’s a dang Red Sox fan, so there is that! I thought that it would be interesting…

Thanks for Your Service: Chris Taylor

I was going to do this post when Chris announced he was retiring, then he changed his mind, but since the chances of him ever playing for the Dodgers again are slim and non-existent, I will go ahead with this post. He unretired, went on the IL, then decided to call it quits on May 24th. Taylor was born in Virginia Beach VA on August 29th, 1990. He attended Great…
