Freeland and Harlan Lead Affiliates Sweep

All five Dodgers affiliates won on Friday. OKC's River Ryan was filthy, Tulsa's Freeland threw seven shutout, and Great Lakes' Harlan went 4-for-4 with a triple.

All five Dodgers full-season affiliates won on Friday — the first system-wide sweep of the season.

  • OKC 6, Sugar Land 1: RHP River Ryan, 6 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 8 K. He is going to make a major-league start before the All-Star break.
  • Tulsa 4, NW Arkansas 0: LHP Justin Wrobleski (rehab assignment) followed by Freeland for 4 shutout. Freeland's slider was a problem.
  • Great Lakes 9, Lansing 5: 1B Hunter Harlan went 4-for-4 with a triple and 4 RBI. He is hitting .311 in May.
  • Ontario 7, Inland Empire 3: 3B Joendry Vargas hit two home runs.
  • ACL 5, ACL Padres 2: 17-year-old RHP Eriq Swan touched 97 in his second pro start.
