OKC and Sugar Land took a scoreless tie into the 4th inning when OKC erupted for a crooked number. 3B Tyler Fitzgerald hit a one out double (5) that was followed by a BB to LF Ryan Fitzgerald. With 2 outs C Eliézer Alfonzo singled to load the bases. RF Zach Ehrhard singled home a pair, and leadoff hitter DH James Tibbs III hit a 3-run HR (12).
In the 5th, CF Jack Suwinski and the 2 Fitzgeralds drew 7 out walks to load the bases. SS Noah Miller followed with a grand slam (7), and a 9-0 lead.
Meanwhile RHSP Christian Romero was breezing through 5.1 innings allowing 2 singles with 1 BB and 6K before giving up a solo HR for the his only run allowed. After the HR, Romero issued his 2nd BB and was lifted for RHRP Keynan Middleton. Middleton induced a GIDP from the first batter he faced to end the inning.
The scored remained 9-1 until the 9th. Suwinski led off with a single, followed by a single from T. Fitzgerald. R. Fitzgerald had an RBI double with T. Fitzgerald to 3B. T. Fitzgerald scored on a SF, and R. Fitzgerald moved to 3B where he scored on a ground out.
Middleton, LHRP Antoine Kelly, and RHRP Griff McGarry each pitched a scoreless inning to complete the win.

Tulsa Drillers Did Not Play
Great Lakes Loons 14 – Dayton Dragons (Reds) 3
The Loons scored 14 runs on 16 hits and 11 BB. Every GL batter reached base and only RF Eduardo Quintero did not get a hit.
GL took a 2-0 lead in the 1st inning. CF Chuck Davalan led off with a single, and 19 year old SS Emil Morales hit his 1st A+ HR.
GL doubled their score in the 3rd with Quintero drawing a leadoff BB. 2B Nico Perez hit an RBI double (12) and scored on DH Jose Meza’s single.
LHSP Sterling Patick grinded out 4.1 scoreless innings, allowing 6 hits and issuing 2 BB while striking out 4. With one out in the 5th, he gave up a double and HBP before RHRP Davis Chastain relieved him. Chastain got the next two batters, one on a K to complete the 5th.
RHRP Isaac Ayon entered in the 6th. Ayon gave up a run scoring triple. It was an unearned run, cutting the lead to 4-1.
In the 7th, Davalan led off with a double (10), and Morales singled him to 3B. With 1 out, Perez walked to load the bases. LF Kole Myers hit a bases clearing triple (1) and scored on an RBI single from 1B Eduardo Guerrero.
Ayon gave up a HR in the 7th, dropping the lead to 8-2.
In the 9th. GL broke it completely open. Myers and Meza led off with BB, and C Victor Rodrigues singled to fill up the bases. Myers scored on a force out with Meza to 3B. Meza scored on a 3B Jose Izarra single. After Davalan walked to load the bases for the third time in the inning, Morales slugged his 2nd HR (2) of the game, this one a grand slam.
Ayon came out for a 4th inning. After a lead off BB and single, RHRP Reynaldo Yean relieved Ayon. Yean walked the 1st batter he faced to load the bases for the Dragons. 1 run scored on a GIDP before Yean got the final out to secure the win.

Ontario Tower Buzzers 6 – Visalia Rawhide (Dbacks) 4
RHSP Brady Smith walked the 1st batter he faced and that was followed by a 2-run HR. After that, for the next 4 innings, he did not allow another hit, and walked one. Smith struck out 3 and threw 58 pitches (39 strikes).
Visalia took the 2-0 lead into the 6th inning. 1B Mairo Martinus drew a BB and moved to 2nd on a single from 2B Kellon Lindsey. After RF Ching-Hsien Ko ground out, 3B Chase Harlan hit a 3-run HR (5), giving Ontario a 3-2 lead.
In the 7th, Ontario got a 4th run after CF Landyn Vidourek doubled and scored after 2 WP.
In his 4th inning, RHRP Luis Carias struck out the 1st two batters, then walked the next followed with a 2-run game tying HR.
But the Tower Buzzers came up with some magic of their own in the bottom of the 9th. Vidourek led off with a BB, and with 1 out, Aroz hit a walk off HR (2) for the win.

ACL Dodgers 11 – ACL Guardians 10 (7 innings)
After the Guardians took a 3-0 lead in the 1st, 3B Moises Boliver hit a grand slam (3) for a 4-3 lead. The Dodgers picked up 2 more in the 1st after a BB and doubles from LF Able Lorenzo and C Bryan Gonzalez Garcia.
In the 2nd, a BB, HBP, and player reaches on scoring error for the 7th run. 2B Daniel Mielcarek walked to load the bases. Another run scored on a Lorenzo SF. A WP and singles from Garcia and CF Jhon Gil scored 2 more.
Dodgers pitchers gave up 6 runs to tie the score in the 7th.
In the bottom of the 7th, Garcia stroked a 1 out single, and moved to 2nd on a 2-out balk. Garcia scored the winning run on a Gil walk-off single.

MLBPA does not control that, they cannot lock themselves out. That is in the hands of the owners. Now at least we know what the MLBPA wants. 1-million-dollar minimum salary is one of their proposals. Most of what they want benefits their members.
I doubt it. Two players on the 40-man who are not on the active roster but have outfield experience are Ryan Ward and Alex Tomas, who is down in Arizona. Now, they can place Teo on the IL and that opens a spot on the 40-man, but I am pretty certain they do not feel Tibbs is ready for prime time. Players on the AAA roster with time in the outfield in the majors, Tyler Fitzgerald who played there some for the Giants a couple of years ago and Jack Suwinski, who is a legitimate power hitter. Tibbs is not on the 40-man roster.
Freeland is a very good player, but Corey Seager he is not.
I had to sue State Farm over a house issue. We moved to Amica for car and house and have had nothing but a great experience. Recently there was water damage and our entire house’s hard wood floors ended up being replaced! The paid for all of that, a month in a new house and some work on my homes foundation.

It won’t happen this season… but I hope AF & Associates have their eye on the Brewers’ Misiorowski. The Miz is a starter but he reminds me a bit of Mason Miller, but with even more velo. When these guys are on, it’s total domination. Another similarity: The A’s were never going to pay the market rate for Miller. At some point, they were going to trade him. I wanted AF to overpay for Miller–but the Pads got him instead. Opportunity lost. So AF wound up overpaying for Edwin Diaz. Oh well. Milwaukee won’t be able to afford The Miz as his salary rises in arbitration. It’s just a matter of time, I think, before the Brewers start entertaining bids. He’ll wind up on a big market team.

That does sound bad. Kike certainly made the most of his too-brief return. He’s batting 1.000, 4 for 4 with a HR and two doubles. And then Teo comes up lame. “The Hernandez Brothers” head to the IL. The silver lining, perhaps, is that Kim will get more of test in the UT role. He made a nice debut in LF, with a terrific catch, and he also contributed on offense. And Alex Freeland did a nice job in his return too…. When Tommy Edman returns, who will be sent back to OKC?
It opens up a spot on the 40 man roster,only if Teo goes on the 60 Day roster or if they move Kiki to the 60 Day roster.
Kim’s versatility showed in LF last night. Great catch. Pages again. Ohtani no hits , 6 innings, hits a homer and he was pissed at his performance. Wow.
