The doors are getting oiled so that they can swing open.

I have tickets for games on February 24th and 26th. I will be in Glendale that whole week. They have a strict list of what you can take and what you can’t take inside, and these guys are trained ICE agents (I am only slightly kidding), who have no sense of humor and are strictly by the book. Here’s the list of what you can and can’t take in:

If you haven’t been there, here are a few pics for your perusal:

Here I am getting ready to strike the late Roger Dodger with my 36 MPH fastball. It was easy since he had a “phantom” bat. Maybe these photos will get you in the mood. I have lots more.

Muncy just got a year extension with a 3 mil buyout for 2028. Also he goes over the 10year and 5year threshold mid season. No trades without his approval.

  2. Daytona JackFebruary 12, 2026

He goes over the magic 10/5 year threshold halfway through this year and gets to reject a trade. Good for him.

Dodgers sign Keston Hiura to minor league deal, per reports

  4. Andrew V ForteFebruary 12, 2026

The Phillies have released outfielder Nick Castellanos, per a club announcement. He’s now a free agent who can sign with any club for the league minimum.

  5. Brian PerkinsFebruary 12, 2026

    Always liked him

For clarity’s sake, no actual money exchanged hands; rather, the Twins shrunk their league-allotted spending limit by $500K, while the Dodgers’ limit correspondingly increases by $500K.In simple terms the Dodger’s International Signing Pool for 2026 increased by $500k to sign players in the Banda trade

Cal Raleigh 60 home runs? I doubt he’ll hit more than 20. Last season was one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments for the entire Seattle team. Be grateful if they make the playoffs again!

  8. BearFebruary 12, 2026

The Dodgers signed Keyston Hiura to a minor league contract per MLBTR. 29-year-old was a top prospect at one time. First baseman with a lot of power and a very high K rate.

  9. Brian PerkinsFebruary 13, 2026

    I’ll take that bet

  10. Brian PerkinsFebruary 13, 2026

    I wouldn’t say a lot of power.

One of the BEST days of the year! Pitchers and catchers report. The journey begins to a three peat. AF has done his job, now it is up to the players to execute the plan and perform. This year’s team is much better and more complete than the 2 previous World Series teams.

  12. MattFebruary 13, 2026

I wouldnt bet against him. Hes a DOG!

  13. Andrew V ForteFebruary 13, 2026

02/12/26 Los Angeles Dodgers placed RHP Evan Phillips on the 60-day injured list. Right forearm discomfort.

  14. Daytona JackFebruary 13, 2026

Am I the only one who gets nervous when Vesia goes on the mound?

  15. John FergusonFebruary 13, 2026

The Dodgers extend Max and sign Kiki and nothing from you guys? AVF? Bear? Dodgerdad? Matt? Come on guys I need my Dodger analysis fix!

I posted it yesterday. Check above.

Dodgers Food Trailer

I did this interview a couple of weeks ago with Chef Mike, who runs the Dodgers Food Trailer for the Great Lakes Loons. They are there for every home and road regular season and playoff game. They prepare three meals a day for approximately 50 people (players and coaches). Since games end late most evenings, they do not prepare breakfast. Many of their hotels have a complimentary breakfast anyway. However,…

Meet LAD 2026 Draft Picks 1-12

3 picks were High School players (2 SS and 1 OF). There was a college OF, college catcher, college SS, and 10 college pitchers. Of all the talk for a need for a catcher, the only catcher the Dodgers selected was Luke Bard, son of LAD bullpen coach Josh Bard. Bard was a 4th year senior from Houston Christian University. He is not a prospect, so the Dodgers are still…

Interview with Paul Beachy – Team Bus Driver For The Great Lakes Loons (LA Dodgers Minor League Team)

It’s been a few days since I did this interview. We have evidently been working my son-in-law (the video guy) like a rented mule at US Water Systems. However, I am taking him to London with me in a few days, so maybe Watford will buy him a pint as a tip, but he’s a dang Red Sox fan, so there is that! I thought that it would be interesting…

Thanks for Your Service: Chris Taylor

I was going to do this post when Chris announced he was retiring, then he changed his mind, but since the chances of him ever playing for the Dodgers again are slim and non-existent, I will go ahead with this post. He unretired, went on the IL, then decided to call it quits on May 24th. Taylor was born in Virginia Beach VA on August 29th, 1990. He attended Great…
